Biomass Harvesting

Harvesting of Corncobs, Sugarcane straw (trash), etc.

The different soil types and climatic conditions determine the amount and/or type of biomass that can be harvested and converted in order to sustain a healthy soil. Corncobs is a biomass feedstock for chemicals and energy production that can be removed without any negative impact on the soil health. The above pictures show a choice of equipment and/or methodologies available to match the different farming practices and preferences or terrains.

Not shown are equiment and/or technologies suitable for harvesting of sugar cane trash (straw): Instead of burning it, a practise that will be phased-out globally (see Chimera™), the dry leaves of the sugar plantations are, too, a very attractive biomass feedstock.
